Green Doctors Programme aims to propose measures that can minimise environmental impacts from the medicine packaging.
To create a sustainable recycling ecosystem in the medical waste industry starting with the recycling of medical blisters.
Green Doctors Programme was founded in August 2021 by a group of Environmental Engineering students from NUS passionate about making a difference. We have since grown to a team of more than 15 members, forming a multi-disciplinary team specialising in outreach, research and publicity.
Since our founding, we have forged partnerships with many prominent names, including National University Hospital (NUH) and Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore (PSS). We have also participated in competitions, winning the YPC Sandbox 2022 organised by the Young Pharmaceutical Chapter of PSS.
Together, we intend to build a circular economy by closing the loop for materials found in pharmaceutical blister packaging.
